Simpliport® 180 Bi-Color Ported Water Gage Glasses & LED Illumination

Installed worldwide since 1962, Simpliport® Boiler Water Level Glass Gages provide reliable, direct-reading, bi-color indication up to 3000 PSI (206 Bar). Continuous improvements in the Simpliport design have made installation simpler, maintenance easier, and visibility significantly clearer.

No matter where you stand within 180° of the Simpliport Wide Angle Viewing Hood, you can easily see the bright red or green indication of water and steam levels. This reduces exposure time in boiler environments while ensuring full ASME compliance.

The Simpliport 180 System includes a stainless-steel gage body, an LED illuminator assembly, and a wide-angle optic viewing hood. The hood assembly contains no service parts, ensuring long-lasting operational reliability.

Eye-Hye® SmartLevel™ Remote Water Level Indication System

The Eye-Hye® SmartLevel™ Boiler Indication System uses patented technology to intelligently monitor the condition of probes that sense boiler water level.

As residue and mineral deposits accumulate, probe accuracy can diminish. The SmartLevel™ system detects this condition and sends an unmistakable notification to the control room when a blowdown (cleaning) is required.

When the blue indicator light is illuminated, the system alerts operators that probe cleaning is needed to maintain accurate boiler-level monitoring.

With intelligent, remote monitoring, SmartLevel™ enhances safety, reduces manual inspections, and ensures consistent boiler performance.

Prismatic Water Gages, Flat Glass Water Gages & DuraStar® Illumination

Reliance Prismatic (reflex) Gages provide a clear, distinct, and highly readable image of the water level, eliminating distortions and reading errors that can occur with less effective gage designs. Highly versatile, Prismatic Gages may be installed in both vertical and Tiltview™ Assemblies.

Multiple gage sections can be combined to provide extended viewing lengths, offering maximum flexibility for a wide range of boiler monitoring requirements.

FG Series Gages are built with wide-body construction for enhanced strength and rigidity. Their premium-quality tempered flat glass is engineered to resist thermal shock. Each glass piece is inspected for surface trueness before assembly and is protected with a high-quality mica shield for steam applications.

DuraStar® LED Illuminators are the most dependable illumination solution for all Reliance Flat Glass Level Gages, ensuring bright, consistent visibility even in demanding industrial environments.

Levalarms® Low Water Cut-Out & Level Switch Applications

The new Levalarm GOLD switch represents a major advancement in safety and reliability. It utilizes the same proven interlocking magnet technology Clark-Reliance has successfully used in Jerguson Level Switches for over 28 years.

A stainless steel float is attached to a rod containing a stainless steel encapsulated magnet. As the float moves up and down with the liquid level, the magnet travels vertically inside the pressure tube. The primary magnet on the float rod drives a secondary magnet, which then drives a tertiary magnet mounted to the switch arm. This tertiary magnet activates the switch mechanism.

The use of repelling magnetic fields creates a positive, interlocking, vibration-resistant switch operation—ensuring reliable performance even in demanding industrial environments.

When liquid rises, the buoyant float causes the magnetic reaction to hold the switch open or closed (depending on terminal configuration). As the liquid level falls, the float drops, reversing the magnet alignment and activating the switch in the opposite direction.

TWIP® Level Switches (Turbine Water Induction Protection)

The TWIP® System provides critical detection that protects turbines and other equipment from catastrophic damage caused by water induction. Even in well-designed and well-maintained steam plants, the risk of sudden water influx remains a constant danger.

Industry research shows that there is a 35% probability of new equipment experiencing water-related damage within the first five years of operation. This makes TWIP® technology an essential safeguard for plant reliability.

Abnormal conditions can develop rapidly — pump failures, valve malfunctions, excessive condensation, or flooding events can instantly create unsafe conditions. In these scenarios, every steam plant becomes vulnerable to unexpected and potentially devastating turbine damage.
