GRP / GRE Pipes & Fittings

GRP / GRE Pipes & Fittings

GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastics) pipes are made of a composite consisting of a thermosetting chemical-resistant resin and fiberglass reinforcements. The glass fiber reinforced polyester is a material belonging to the group of composites. These composites are made up of a continuous phase (matrix of thermosetting resins) and a fibrous phase (glass fiber), which is responsible for the mechanical characteristics.

GRP pipes are flexible, corrosion resistant, and suitable for a wide range of applications such as cooling water, industrial wastewater and effluents, fire water lines, seawater lines, acid cleaning, and chlorination lines.
